![]() ![]() I am not planing for updating my OS soon. Now i guess why it is not working and i am stuck here.even other apps for bandwidth usage monthly ARE NOT COMPATIBLE with my version of imac "10.6" ![]() it needs better data recovery in case of system crashes. such as those received as e-mail attachements, should not be opened. BUG REPORT: if your mac crashes and you have to do a hard reboot (by holding down power button), surplusmeter loses track of its stats because ist gets corrupted. I know that this version of app has another silent app working on background to monitor even if i closed the app, and it is supposed to be in the login items of my account, now i find it there not checked, and everytime i check it and close the system preferences it is unchecked for unknown reason. This page provides the information of SurplusMeter 2.0.3 program and different. Among the features which you need for monitoring network usage are: monitoring network activity of every process (HandsOff) get the network usage of individual processes (HandsOff) log total network usage (SurplusMeter) HandOff does only display the network usage since boot. Notice that i've downloaded 5 GBs so far and nothing is recorded or archived there. Surplusmeter on the other hand is free and open source. But on Android mobile, for example vivo mobile, there is a system which can monitor each-app’s usage. I just open the app and everything is "0" like this. Answer (1 of 4): On app store, there is no such app. The problem is that IT IS NOT MONITORING ANY THING! Many apps were not compatible with my OS version so i got this app "Surplusmeter" which is supposed to be easly used. If you are tethered to an iPhone then it will count the usage while. So i digged around with bandwidth monitoring apps availble for my imac "10.6.8", its like searching for a needle in a haystack!! The main problem I see with SurplusMeter is that it doesnt seem to differentiate between local network and internet traffic. Bandwidth+ is a simple app so only tracks the network usage on the Mac it is running on. I recently changed my internet plan which includes a "limited" bandwidth usage ![]()
